Who are you? The community…

There are lots of people interested in fulltext-search on ruby and rails. Who are you?

Put your name in here!'''

Benjamin Arai - Database researcher and developer. I am using Ferret to develop a large-scale presentation system for periodicals such as historical newspapers and magazines.

Jan Prill - WebDesigner?, Ruby Noob, trainee (law) located in Hamburg, Germany. I did quite some work with java lucene and was very grateful as I saw that this great search engine gets ported to ruby.

Florent Solt - Architect for Rift Technologies, located in Paris, France. I'm a Ruby & Rails lover for my home and specially for all of my work, my company main language is Ruby of course :)

Jérémie Bordier - Student and trainee @ Rift Technologies. Still learning Ruby & Rails and loving it. Using Ferret at work, and basking in the glory of being a Ferret contributor :D.

Mike Bergman - Web scientist and former founder and CTO of  BrightPlanet Corp. I'm learning Ruby & Rails and looking into potential industrial strength open source components for automating many semantic Web tasks. This site is an excellent find!

Stian Haklev - intern at CARE Indonesia, currently working on Boxroom to improve it before we implement it as part of our intranet solution. Using ferret and a few (pdf|rtf|sxw|doc|html) helpers to produce ascii I implemented full-text search and preview in just a few lines. Awesome, and everyone who sees it are impressed. Ferret is very fast and nice to work with.

Jens Krämer - Ruby and Rails freelancer, responsible for the  acts_as_ferret Rails plugin.

Martin Kihlgren - software developer at adocca Entertainment AB, building  http://trig.com using an abused rails base and ferret.

Pulkit Bhuwalka - Undergraduate Engineering student. Currently an intern at Minvesta Infotech in Chennai, India. Using Ruby + Ferret to index resumes and extract information.

Timothy Goddard - Software Developer for Catalyst IT Ltd. in New Zealand. I'm building a command-line driven web search system on top of Ferret, designed to interoperate with systems in any language using YAML.
